Ledge and Brace Oak Doors

For those of whom are looking to carry a rustic barn feel through their home the moment they step through the door, our ledge and brace doors prove to be the perfect answer in creating that authentic traditional look.  With a similar grade to our character grade oak flooring, these oak doors will go beautifully and naturally inside any home, and act as perfect company to some oak flooring. To really create that authentic look, you could try adding one of our hand forged Suffolk latches and a pair of T hinges.

The doors come in widths of 2’3” (686mm), 2’6” (762mm) or 2’9” (836mm) with the height at 2000mm and the thickness at 20mm. We can however also provide some custom sizes which you can find more information upon by calling 01538 304584. With a number of recent product updates to the site recently we thought it was about time we reminded you of the some of our other products. As well as Solid Oak Flooring and Engineered Oak Flooring, we also sell different types of Oak Doors. When looking for a door that is full of character with a traditional feel, there is simply nothing better than an oak door.

Currently at Peak Oak we have three different types of Oak Doors available: Ledge and Brace Doors, Yorkshire Ledged Doors and Diamond Doors.

Our range of Ledge and Brace Doors are similar in grade to the character grade oak flooring, with a traditional bead detail to one edge of each door board. These doors have four ledges on them and are perfect for creating a traditional look inside a cottage or an old barn. The ledge and brace doors are available in widths of 2’3”, 2’6” and 2’9” but custom sizes are available upon request.  These doors are available in kit form or ready assembled.

Our Yorkshire Ledged Doors offer the best value available for those on a tight budget, whilst still retaining a fantastic quality. The doors are made from high quality European oak in an unfinished state. With three ledges these doors are available in widths of 2’3”, 2’6” and 2’9” in kit form only.

The final Oak Doors that we have available are our Diamond Doors. These doors are for those who are looking for something a little bit special from their oak doors. The diamond doors have been specially designed to include a Diamond Aperture whilst also being similar in style to our Ledge and Brace Oak Doors. Once again these doors come in the standard 2’3”, 2’6” and 2’9” widths.
